Biography Resource Center

biographical information on more than one million people in all disciplines.

Britannica Online

online version of the classic encyclopedia, also includes evaluated websites and full-text journals and magazines.

Business & Company Resource Center

includes full-text articles, company profiles, financial reports.

Criminal Justice Periodicals Index

includes full-text of 50 journals and indexes and abstracts over 190 US and international journals, from 1981 forward.

Digital Library of Appalachia seeks to provide online access to archival and historical images and materials related to the culture of the southern and central Appalachian region. The over 1000 items in the database include reproductions of photographs, reformatted typed pages, published books, unpublished manuscripts, personal diaries and correspondence, journal and newspaper articles, musical recordings, oral history recordings and transcripts, and other related reproductions.

provides web access to the entire text of Grove's Dictionary of Music.

JSTOR

a full-text scholarly journal collection consisting of back issues of journals in many different subject areas; some of the journals go back to the 1800's.

Lexis-Nexis

full-text news dating back 20 years, business, legal, and medical materials.

Literature Resource Center

full-text literature resources for all research in literature.

Medline (EBSCO) A comprehensive database of biomedical literature produced by the National Library of Medicine, coverage 1966-present. Useful for science, medicine, and social sciences.
MLA Bibliography

index to information on languages, grammar, and literature, no full text.

NetLibrary Online Books

full-text electronic books, approximately 52,000 titles, covering all academic subject areas.

Online Reference Books

over twenty-five full-text reference books covering the subjects of education, history, medicine, religion, science, and social science.

Oxford English Dictionary provides authoritative definitions of over 500,000 words, traces the usage of words, and offers etymological analysis.
Polling the Nations

contains the full-text of 400,000 questions and responses from 14,000 surveys conducted by 700 polling organizations since 1986 in the US and 80 other countries.

Psychology and Behaviorial Sciences Collection (EBSCO) provides coverage of more than 550 full-text journals, including nearly 500 peer-reviewed titles. The database covers topics such as emotional and behavioral characteristics, psychiatry & psychology, mental processes, anthropology, and observational and experimental methods. Nearly every full-text title included in this database is indexed in PsycINFO, a database of the American Psychological Association.
PsycInfo (EBSCO) from the American Psychological Association, contains over two million citations and summaries of journal articles, book chapters, books and dissertations, all in psychology and related disciplines, dating as far back as 1840.
