Karl Ameriks has worked on both Kant and post-Kantianism (Kant's Theory of Mind, Immanuel Kant: Lectures on Metaphysics, Kant and the Fate of Autonomy: Problems in the Appropriation of the Critical Philosophy). He discussed the general position of Early Romanticism in the development of metaphilosophy and aesthetics from Kant to Hegel.
