The first invited speaker, Hannah Ginsborg (Professor of Philosophy, University of California Berkeley and author of The Role of Taste in Kant's Theory of Cognition), is a leading expert on Kant's Critique of Judgment, and recently she has done very important work specifically on Kant's conception of purpose and his understanding of biology.
