   Who is COWL?    COWL includes all students and faculty at Bluefield College.
  What is COWL? COWL is a cooperative online writing lab created to connect our students and faculty electronically with tutors and resources vital to the improvement of writing skills.
  Where is COWL? COWL is everywhere it needs to be.   It is easily accessible on the World Wide Web at http://bcweb.bluefield.edu/cowl
    When is COWL? COWL operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Online tutoring is also available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except during school breaks. Closed dates will be posted on the Online Tutoring Dates page accessed through the home page.
    Why is COWL? COWL assists students in improving their writing skills by providing easy access to tutors and other important writing related resources. Designed to serve ALL students, COWL particularly targets those who have schedules which do not allow them to visit traditional centers, those who do not feel comfortable bringing their work for a face-to-face conference with a writing tutor, and those writing for classes outside of English.
COWL assists faculty in creating and implementing effective writing assignments in all their classes by providing useful online resources.
